Product Description

Metal separator can detect plastic connector and injection molded parts with a maximum outer diameter of less than  90 mm. When injection molded parts containing broken needles or metal contaminants (ferrous, copper, alumnium, stainless steel) pass through metal separator, machine will trigger an audible and alarm signal and intercept injection molded parts which containing metal contaminants. At the same time, a linkage  signal can be sent to the injection molding machine and the center begin to stop the production of defective products. It is widely used for detecting injection-molded parts and connectors with diameters less than 90 mm, suitable for the plastics industry.

Product Features

  • When metal containants are detected, the reject gate immediately blocks the defective product and sends an alarm signal to sync with the injection molding machine.

  • The installation space of the metal separator is small, and machine can be customized according to the customer's on-site installation space. It can be directly installed under the discharge outlet of the injection molding machine without the need for transforming the customer's production line, and making installation convenient.

  • A special customized interception mechanism for defective product, can quickly and accurately intercept mold products   containing broken needles or metal contaminants.

  • Intercepting defective products, at the same time, linkage signals can also be sent to the injection molding machine and  center console.

  • Equipped with product parameter memory function, it can store 100 kinds of detection parameters for products, and quickly convert product parameters on production lines with a wide variety of raw materials, minimizing setup time to the greatest  extent possible.

  • The machine is anti-vibration and has strong adaptability to environmental and temperature changes. It can detect materials  that pass slowly.

  • Permission settings, independent administrator password can be set. Multiple language options (Chinese, English, Japanese,   etc.) can be chosen.

  • Can save the latest 1000 log information, including alarm time, parameter modification, fault alarm, etc., and manually clear records.

  • Adaptive power supply 110-240 V, 50-60 Hz, no need for external transformer.

  • Modular component parts replacement, convenient and fast maintenance.

  • It can be integrated with a mold monitor as well. Mold monitor is mainly used for online video monitoring of molds, such as monitoring the appearance of products inside the mold, monitoring the quantity of products, monitoring defective products, checking for residues before mold closing, etc. It effectively protects the mold, avoids downtime for mold   repair, improves product quality and production efficiency.
