It is designed for high-throughput, high-precision production lines, this metal separator enables high-speed continuous conveying, inspection and rejection of powder and granular materials. To ensure efficient high-speed conveyance, all connections and pipes are fully sealed and treated for anti-static protection. Under airflow, materials are rapidly drawn into the pipe. If inspection confirms the material is qualified, it is discharged from the upper outlet for qualified products. If metal contaminants are detected, the system triggers an alarm and rejects the material. The defective material first enters a sealed buffer chamber to maintain stable airflow pressure in the main conveying pipe. When the pipe pressure drops to ambient pressure (and the suction feeder pauses operation), the buffer chamber automatically opens to discharge the detective material. After rejection, the material containing metal contaminants is discharged through the reject outlet.

FAQ
Q1: Why is "Anti-Static Treatment" critical for this high-speed conveying system?
A: During high-speed pneumatic transport, friction between particles and pipe walls generates significant static electricity. This can lead to material clumping, wall-adhesion, and, more critically, a risk of dust explosions. Our full-path anti-static treatment ensures smooth material flow and operational safety by effectively grounding and dissipating these charges.
Q2: How does the "Sealed Buffer Chamber" improve production efficiency?
A: In standard systems, rejecting contaminants often causes a drop in vacuum pressure, leading to flow fluctuations or downtime. Our system uses a pressure-balanced buffer chamber to temporarily isolate rejected materials. This allows the main conveying line to maintain stable airflow and pressure, ensuring the production rhythm is never interrupted during the detection and rejection process.
Q3: What types of metal contaminants can the system detect and remove?
A: The system is equipped with ultra-sensitive sensors capable of detecting different types of metals, including ferrous (fe), non-ferrous (such as copper and aluminum), and high-grade stainless steel. Even tiny metal fragments embedded within dense powders or granules are accurately identified and diverted.
Q4: Does the high-speed suction process damage fragile granular materials?
A: No. While the transport is high-speed, the system utilizes aerodynamic flow optimization and smooth-bore, polished piping. By maintaining a stable "dilute phase" suspended flow and using long-radius bends, we minimize particle-to-wall impact, ensuring that even delicate granules reach the "Accept" outlet without breakage or degradation.
Q5: Is the system compatible with different powder characteristics or hygiene standards?
A: Yes. The modular design and fully sealed connections make the system ideal for sensitive industries like food and pharmaceuticals. The airtight construction prevents external contamination (dust-free environment), and the components are designed for easy disassembly and cleaning to meet strict GMP or food-grade hygiene requirements.
