X-ray Inspection System For Mango

X-ray machines have a wide range of applications, including medical use in hospitals, security checks at airports or train stations, and industrial used in factories. In industrial settings, our X-ray inspection systems are primarily used as detection equipment with two main purposes. First, they detect impurities in products, such as metals, stone, and fish bones. Unlike traditional metal detectors, which can only identify metal contaminants and are limited to detecting iron in aluminum foil packaging, X-ray inspection system are not restricted by packaging materials. They can detect a broader range of impurities, making them more versatile. Second, X-ray inspection systems are used to inspect product detects, such as dents in cans or internal spoilage in fruits.

Today, we'll focus on the application of X-ray inspection system in detecting spoiled mangoes.

X-ray inspection systems operate on the principle of X-ray imaging, where differences in the density of objects result in variations in the imaging. When a mango begins to rot internally, the change in density is reflected in the X-ray image, as shown in the illustration below.

Our X-ray inspection systems are equipped with AI algorithm for self-learning capabilities. By providing the machine with samples of qualified mango and various types of spoiled mangoes for training, it can learn to automatically identify detective mangoes. When a spoiled fruit is detected, the machine triggers an audible and visual alarm. It can either stop the conveyor belt or automatically remove the detective mango from the line, which is customized based on requirements.
